DISCOVER LAST EDITION

Arte Laguna Prize is an international art award, aimed at enhancing Contemporary Art. The Prize obtained a medal from the President of the Italian Republic, with the patronage of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Cà Foscari University of Venice among others.

The contest features the awarding of 6 cash prizes of € 7.000 each, the organization of a major collective exhibition in the Arsenale of Venice, 4 exhibitions in international Art Galleries, 2 collaborations with Companies, 7 Art Residencies, 3 participations in International Festivals and the publication of the catalogue.

WHO’S SELECTING

The selection of the submitted artworks will be made by an international jury composed of high level experts:

APPLICATIONS WILL OPEN
ON SEPTEMBER 1, 2016

The new season of opportunities for artists worldwide will open in September. You can enter the competition with one or more works with free theme, by sending your application via the online form or by mail, in the sections: paintings, sculpture and installation, photographic art, video art and performance, digital art, land art. An international jury will select the finalists who will exhibit in Venice in March 2017 and the 6 overall winners who win a cash prize of 7,000 euro each.
The artists can win also: art residencies worldwide, solo exhibitions in galleries, participations in festivals and collective exhibitions, collaborations with companies.

FINAL EXHIBITION
19 March - 3 April 2016, Arsenale Venice

The major collective exhibition which tooke place in the historical location of the Arsenale in Venice from 19th March to 3rd April 2016.
The prestigious venue in the lagoon city hosted the exhibition of 30 works of painting, 30 sculptures and installations, 30 works of photographic art, 10 videos, 10 land art projects, 5 performances.

DEDICATED VENUE FOR DIGITAL ART SECTION
The finalists of the virtual and digital art section were on view at the Future Centre, the Venice home of Telecom Italia, an incubator to develop new business opportunities for telecommunications and new technologies, the ideal place to host the 5 works of this section: 5 ways to understand virtual and digital art through computers, tablets, applications and devices.
