Saturday, March 6th from 18.30, it was inaugurated in Venice the long-awaited exhibition devoted to the 195 finalists of the 4th International Prize Arte Laguna, which this year has established itself as a new benchmark for contemporary art in the world Thanks to the extraordinary quality of work received, with an eye towards emerging art.During the gala evening of March 6, during which they received more than 2,000 people, with a significant participation of guests from the arts and culture, but also audience of fans and curious given that the input is open at all, were awarded the overall winner of three categories: Painting, Sculpture and art photography and certified the winners of special awards linked to the international exhibition circuit 21 cooperating with the competition and the winner of the Prize "Business for Art" in Tenuta S. Anna. ![]() An evening full of surprises and audience, as well as the collective exhibition and the awards ceremony, the Prize Arte Laguna organization has wanted to make the evening even more memorable by including in the program dell'happening also the exhibition of Italian artistic performances and foreign, selected from over 300 entries from around the world: dance, video, acting, music, but not limited to, these performances have been able to amaze guests of the evening. The absolute works of the 180 finalists, selected from over 5,500 artists entered, displayed in the huge and fascinating areas of St. Christopher Tese Arsenale in Venice until 27 March 2010, a crucial development was designed to enhance the more than 3,000 square meters of impressive industrial heritage, thanks to clever use of lighting photographic style. At the same time, the selection of the 15 best artists under 25 on display at the Romanian Institute of Culture and Humanistic Research in Venice, located in the historic Palazzo Correr in Campo Santa Fosca, a splendid example of Venetian architecture of the fifteenth century."We do not want to spoil the surprise of those who come to visit the exhibitions," says Igor Zanti, president of Sculpture "But there are many works that will astonish the public, which will be discussed. They dealt with issues of great relevance: the Italian political and international issues facing religious but in an ironic irreverent, analysis of the subconscious and the collective imagination, that take a different form depending on the culture of origin, while noting the similarities in the essence of ideas. " ![]() Topics and styles, ranging from global trends and current events, and which give rise to a unique overview in the context of contemporary art representing over 90 countries around the world, including countries outside the traditional art circuits such as Costa d'Ivoire, East Timor, Kazakhstan, Ghana, Qatar, Ivory Coast, Syria, Burkina Faso, Nepal, and Bangladesh. |
