The artists reflect on two questions: on the one side the dualism among natural and unnatural, on the second side the opposition between reality and pretence. "What can be defined as real? and what is pretence? The exposition will not give a single answer to this question, but will examine some authors that work in a border-line condition. The images recreate the reality and create a theatrality by disposing the subjects,  as some sort of characters that turn into bit players under  a creative direction." (Carlo Sala, President of the Jury, photographic-art section)

The exhibition, cured by Carlo Sala, bring together a group of authors distinguished by a common photographic sensibility, in order to give visibility to those artists that do not consider photography as a mean to reach realism, nor research an objective representation which is an end in itself.

The opening will take place on Wednesday, 22nd October 2008 - 6P.M. at Galleria dell'Istituto Romeno di Cultura e Ricerca Umanistica in Venice.
