ANNALU’ at Young Art Global 09 – MOYA (Wien) |

 Arte Laguna is glad to inform that Annalù was selected by the Cultural Institute of Wien (Austria) for the participation in the International exposition of contemporary art Young Art Global 09, that will be hold at MOYA - Museum of Young Art in Wien in June/July 2009 (dates to be defined).
The artist was selected as single representative for Italy
The exhibition will be arranged during the next week and will be opened on 18th June, 2009. It will follow a second inauguration on 7th July, 2009.
In this contest, Arte Laguna worked as a mediator among the Cultural Institute of Wien, the MOYA and the artist.

Though only twenty-three, his artwork has been described as having the "fire of Pollock". Yet what makes the description intriguing is that the artist is Cholla, a mustang-quarterhorse mix who lives in Nevada and paints by holding the brush in his mouth Cholla's paintings have been featured in art exhibits from San Francisco to New York and, now, overseas. From 24 April to 15 June 2009, 30 watercolours by Cholla will be exclusively shown in Venice at the Giudecca 795 Art Gallery, which is planning other exhibits of Cholla's works around the world. Internationally, he is already considered one of the four most sought after animal artists; Congo the chimpanzee from the '50s whose paintings are now sold at the same sales as those of Andy Warhol, is slightly ahead.
