THE PRIZES

Arte Laguna Prize is an international art competition, open to all, with free theme and no age restrictions. Its aim is to promote and enhance the artists and their career by offering a range of opportunities for a total endowment of € 180,000.

Art Residencies

7 artists will live a creative experience outside the artist's studio:

. Artistic Serigraphy, Venice
. Glass School Abate Zanetti, Murano Venice
. Artistic Foundry Battaglia, Milan
. Art Stays, Ptuj Slovenia

Business for Art

3 artists will be selected to collaborate with 3 leaders of Made in Italy in the field of design, fashion and wine:

Solo Exhibitions in Art Galleries

Each gallery will select an artist for a personal exhibition including: setting-up, coverage of transportation expenses, publication of a catalogue:

THE CURATOR

IGOR ZANTI

Igor Zanti is a curator and an art critic from Milan, he collaborates with private galleries and institutional spaces in Italy and abroad.
He was appointed Director of the IED College of Venice in December 2013

JURY

The selection is made ​​by an international jury composed of contemporary art experts, directors of museums and foundations, independent curators and art critics.

FINALISTS EXHIBITION

ARSENALE OF VENICE

The Arsenal of Venice, a historical location in the lagoon city of utmost importance in the artistic and cultural field, will host the exhibition of the 105 finalists from the sections painting, sculpture and installation, photographic art, video art and performance. The finalists of the virtual and digital art section will be on view at the Future Centre, the Venice home of Telecom Italia, an incubator for developing new business opportunities for telecommunications and new technologies, the ideal place to host the works of this section.

PERFORMANCE

    Any artist or group of artists can participate with performances made using any technique, expressive form and with the use of any support materials.

    Works entirely created by using the computer, digital applications and devices, or in which the use of digital media plays a key role.

    New projects for environmental and land art works, in which the art intervention interacts with the environment it was designed for.
